Make Today Amazing!

Well here we are, the final day of 2021.  If you are reading this, Congratulations, you have made it through a very tough and challenging year!!

I must admit that this is the first time I am feeling emotional on the last day of the year.  Not emotional in a sad way, but emotional because I look back over this year, and I am so proud that I have made it through a really hard year.  I am so grateful that my family and friends have made it through this year, I know I definitely wouldn’t have made it through so gracefully without their love and support.

I think back on this year, and I count my blessings.  I had Covid twice, but I am still alive and I still have my health, I am blessed.  My family and friends that had Covid, recovered and are still healthy, I am blessed.  I lost my beloved cat (Pumpkin) of 19 years this year, I miss her terribly but I am blessed that I got to have her unconditional love or 19 years, and that she was with me through the hardest times of my life, now she is my Guardian Angel, I am blessed.  I went through severe depression, but it lead me tothe most amazing psychologist, and I began a journey of healing, I am blessed. Through my journey of healing, I have been able to meet the most phenomenal and empowering woman, who have changed my life, I am blessed.  My son has had a really rough year, but he has made it through, and we have loved and supported each other every step of the way, I am blessed.  I was on my knees begging God to please show me what to do with my life, tears streaming down my face, and God guided me to my calling and my company was born, I am blessed. Through sharing my story, I have changed lives, I have saved lives, I am blessed.

For all of you reading this, I encourage you to take every negative thing that happened this year, and turn it into a positive, find the blessing, and change the script of 2021.  End the year with counting your blessings and expressing what you are grateful for, it will open up your mindset and your heart to accept more blessings in 2022.

For every parent reading this, you got your child through a really tough school year!  Well done Mom and Dad!  It has not been an easy journey, yet our children have showed us their resilience, their strength, their weaknesses, and together we have been able to grow with our kids.  Mental Health really was at the forefront with our children this year, however we all pulled together, we all supported each other, we showed up for our children and ourselves, and it has opened up a totally new dynamic to our relationship with them.

When you look back on this year, don’t think of the pain you felt, think of the strength that you gained, and appreciate just how far you have come over the past 365 days.  You may have been through a lot, but you have grown a lot too, so give yourself credit for your resilience, for your grace, for your strength, for just how damn amazing you actually are, and then go out there and make this day AMAZING, go and make the final day of 2021 just as amazing as you are!

I am gently releasing 2021 and welcoming 2022 with open arms, there is an entire new chapter that is about to start, a brand new sparkling clean page, where we are the authors.

I wish you a Happy, Peaceful and Blessed New Year.  May the tears that you cried in 2021 water the seeds that you planted and may those seeds grown into an abundant Harvest for you for 2022.

Pick up the pen for your brand New Year, turn the page and begin your new chapter, because, like I always say…Your Story Is Not Over!
